Summary: I checked in, and the staff was friendly. I am not a white glove person, but there were both dead and a live bugs in this room. To be honest, at first, I believe they were bedbugs because I could not tell the species of the decaying dead bugs on the floor. And the ones on the ceiling were too far for me to see clearly. When management responded, denying a refund, they informed me that these are “only ladybugs“. I may be picky, but I simply won’t stay in a room with any bugs and I also will not stay at a property that has bugs in any room. Management stated that they were on site, but when I spoke with the front desk person they gave me the name and contact information for management and never mentioned once that anyone was on site. Anyway, I simply chucked it up to an expensive lesson learned and I will avoid this brand going forward. Management stated that they are unable to issue your refund because I’ve booked through Expedia, which I do not believe to be accurate, but it is certainly not worth my time to fight. The good thing about booking three third-party is I am not stuck with this brand thankfully. Make your own decision. If you’re good with only ladybugs in your room, this is your place to stay. On a positive note, the front desk staff Weir very polite.
