This home is not a duplex. A beautiful farmhouse built in the mid 40's located less than a mile from the South Welcome Station in Land Between the Lakes and less than 6 miles to the nearest boat ramp. Are you looking to spend time outdoors? Or are you looking to relax? If so, you have came to the right place. Hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking, atv's (Turkey Bay), bicycling, swimming etc..Our area is also known for a lot of history! Boat parking available.
Please note there is a $75 pet fee which includes two pets. Cats and dogs only. Only dogs less than 50lbs are allowed. No aggressive breeds are allowed. The fee must be paid when you book your reservation and kindly include in a message that you're bringing your pet and what breed it is upon booking. When you are not home, please crate your pet, if possible. Please clean up any droppings from your pet/animal or additional fees will apply.
This home was built in 1945 by my grandfather after the Federal Government took over Land Between the Lakes. Small towns in the area were effectively shut down and the families had to move. My grandparents moved from out of the LBL area to here on the Trace. This area is full of history from Ft. Donelson National Battlefield to LBL history. If you enjoy exploring you would like riding through LBL, you’ll find remnants of old home sites, cemeteries, and other historical artifacts.
Guests have access to the entire house. Access to the pool (shared facility, 9am-7pm, open Memorial day-Labor Day), The pool is a shared space with us the owners of the property. We are located next door. It is not common for our boys (5 and 8) to swim when we have guests but we like to add shared in our listing if they were to swim. The slide is for kids only! No adults. Please read the pool rules.
*Security camera on property* We have one actively recording camera overlooking the driveway which records video and audio. No other cameras are on the property.

-If you are traveling with children leave all arts and craft materials at home. Such as, crayons, markers, pens, playdough, paint etc... You will be charged an extra clean up fee if we see these items were used in the house during your stay.
-The bunk beds are intended for children. These beds will not be a comfortable space for adults to sleep.
