Summary: Our host Tina and her husband Gary sacrificed quite a lot to make this trip happen for me and my family. Long story short, it was perfect. The weather was perfect and we witnessed the most perfect total eclipse IN THE LINE OF TOTALITY!! We sat in Tina and Gary’s back pasture near a pond. It’s crazy, the day before it rained, then eclipse day woke up sunny and stayed that way till later that night. Since after the eclipse it’s been April showers bring May flowers since!! I believe everything about our trip was meant to be when it first seemed it wasn’t meant to be! Our rental was nice and clean, had everything we needed to cook. Very spacious and warm. Easy to relax in! Check in and out was all easy. I know my grandkids enjoyed the large back yard space to explore. We wished we had fished!! Thanks again for a great time !perfect in every way! The LeBlanc family!
