THIS CONDO RENTS FOR 30 NIGHT MINIMUM. Monthly rate is $1250 includes trash, ac/heat, cable/wifi utilities plus applicable fees (Cleaning Fee, Taxes, VRBO Service Fee and CC Processing Fees). You may add on any number of nights after at least a months' stay, at the nightly rate of $189/nt, or you may also just rent by the month.

While this condo is not waterfront, there is so much to share about this beautifully designed and decorated condo nestled in a quiet residential area near the water. This vacation property is located on a gravel loop drive so it is not on a main highway or road. Great area for taking walks or riding bikes out into the country. It is an easy 2.5 mile drive to Indiana Beach Amusement Park. About 12-15 minute drive to downtown Monticello. You have Monon Bay, Lake Shafer and Lake Freeman as well to enjoy fishing, swimming, sun bathing, boat cruising, skiing, kayaking and tubing on! Much to do in the area.
As you arrive to the property, it isn't going to look like too much from the outside since it is located in a huge tan FBi shed building. But don't let that discourage you one bit. The owners have added a nice paved parking area, shrubs and a patio. The patio has a picnic table with umbrella, gas grill and a small fire pit for your enjoyment. There is lawn area as well next to the patio. (No fenced in area) Bring your own camping chairs for seating on the patio or grass. Parking is uncovered on concrete pad. Plenty of room for 2 vehicles and a boat trailer. If you need further parking, just inquire with your property contact, Rachel.
The owners live across the drive in the waterfront home. This has a HUGE deck over the water, 1 boat lift underneath,1 canoe and 4 sit in kayaks for your use. The owners welcome our guests that rent the condo to use these added features on their property! So, anytime you want to spend some time on the deck over the water or bring your own boat or rent one from Lake Shafer Boat Rentals, you have a large deck and slip to use! Bring your own life jackets. This is all located right across the drive from your vacation rental.
Now it's time to enter the condo! The owners took a lot of time in coming up with the best design and decor for the space. You enter into the foyer which either takes you to the upstairs or leads you into the kitchen/dining area. (See Photos) Plenty of storage, office area and cabinets in the fully equipped kitchen. Water/Ice dispenser on fridge door, deep 2 bay kitchen sink, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, regular coffee maker, blender, crockpot, bakeware, pots, pans and utensils.
Central AC/Heating.
Open Floor Plan on the main floor. As you walk through your dining/kitchen area, you enter the living room which also has access to one bathroom and utility room. Living room has large sectional couch with pullout queen sleeper sofa, LARGE HD 3D Flat Screen with HUGE cable package. Xfinity WIFI access as well for our guests. Main Level Bathroom has single shower, toilet and sink/vanity. Utility Room has stack HE washer/dryer.
Upstairs has 1 Master Bedroom with King Size Bed and 2nd bedroom has 2 twin size beds. Both bedrooms have TVs as well, dressers and an adjoining closet. Upstairs bathroom has a full size tub/shower combo, double vanity, cabinets and toilet. At the top of the stairs is a nice open area with a taller mirror. There are skylights in both bedrooms with the option to pull the blinds over.
We also provide your linens. Bath towels and wash cloths in both bathrooms. Kitchen towels/cloths included. 1 Set of bed linens per bed including a set for the Aerobed.
Maximum Occupancy is 6. It sleeps 4 in beds upstairs, then 2 more can either use the sleeper sofa or Aerobed mattress.
No Smoking, No pets. No Parties/Events.
THE MONON BAY BRIDGE HAS BEEN RAISED SO MOST BOATS WILL FIT UNDER BRIDGE NOW TO ACCESS LAKE SHAFER! The Monon Bay extends for several miles and is all designated as a No Wake Area. This is great for canoeing, kayaking and swimming. All SEASONS ARE QUITE BEAUTIFUL HERE. (There are many stumps in the bay so be careful with your boat motors and no diving.)
