Overlooking the pasture that once belonged to infamous log home builder, Joe Webb, Sanctuary Cottage offers an abundance of room and areas for retreat and relaxation. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating around the beautiful stone fireplace with large flat screen tv. Cozy up with a good book and a cup of afternoon tea in the respite room, which offers a comfy chair and day bed overlooking the expansive open deck.
Speaking of decks….the covered screen deck and the large open deck are two additional living spaces where you can breathe in Highlands fresh mountain air. Settle in to watch the sun set over the Fishhawk mountains and the stars come out across the wide-open, dark night sky. When you retire for the evening, you may choose from three bedrooms—a King with private bath and 2 Twins with hall bath on one end of the house, and King master with private bath on the other. Meals prepared in the brand new kitchen can be enjoyed by two fireside, six in the dining area, four on the screened porch or eight dining al fresco on the deck. Less than two miles from the city center and a stones-throw from Bridal Veil Falls, hikers will enjoy walking out front door of the house and taking a neighborhood trail to Cliffside Lake.
