The space
With 3 bedrooms, 2 additional rooms with beds and 3 bathrooms- The Duck house allows you and your guests to really spread out!
The primary entrance is on the ground level and walks into the lounge area where there is a daybed/lounger that converts into 3 twin beds. This is the perfect place for kids (or adults) to hang out and watch a movie!
Right of the lounge area is a full bathroom, laundry room and bonus room that can be used as a work station or pull down the queen size Murphy bed and use it as an additional sleeping space!
Making our way upstairs we walk into a large dining room with an extendable dining room table. A "canvas tv" located above the dining room table can be used as a normal tv or it can cycle through art pieces.
The large kitchen is attached to the dining room, has a gas range and plenty of counterspace to prepare a large dinner!
The living room is located next to the dining room and boasts a large, modular sectional and 70 inch QLED TV that can even be seen from part of the large porch!
The primary suite is located next to the living room and has a large bathroom with a double vanity, king size bed and double windows to let in the serenity of the Northern Michigan setting!
Also located off of the living room is an additional full bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed while the second bedroom has a TwinXL over queen bunk bed.
Accessible from the stairs on the side of the house, the large porch wraps around the side to the front of the house and is a great space to relax or bbq a meal and eat outside! Our favorite thing to do is grab a cup of coffee and take in the environment!
The Duck house also offers a brand new, 5 person hot tub underneath the porch by the main floor entry. ~Please read and follow all posted rules and rules in the arrival guide~. Next to the house and tucked slightly in the woods is a quaint fire ring with enough seating to encourage lasting memories making delicious smores!
Dogs are always welcome however we do ask that they remain on leash while outside!
Guest access
The whole house and property is available for guests to use! The main entrance is on the ground floor underneath the porch! There are two Ring Cameras facing the driveway and out from the entryway.
Other things to note
We do offer a 5 person hot tub at the Duck House. Please read and follow any rules posted. Notably- we do not allow any glass whatsoever in or near the hot tub and no children under the age of 14 are allowed in the hot tub without direct adult supervision. Thank you!!
