An outbuilding of the Château du Bertry, this structure was originally used for making and baking bread. It was converted in 2022 into a comfortable 115 m² home with 3 bedrooms. The original features have been highlighted, including the warmth of the exposed beams, stonework, and terracotta floor tiles sourced from the attics of the neighboring castle. An authentic atmosphere combined with modern comforts, including underfloor heating, double-glazed windows, a fully equipped kitchen, and luxurious queen-size beds!!! After parking your car in the private parking lot and descending a few steps, you’ll be greeted by a huge 60-square-meter terrace. The entrance to the house is through the kitchen area, which opens onto the 30-square-meter living room. The first bedroom is on the first floor, opposite the bread oven, and features an en suite bathroom. Upstairs, off the landing, there are two bedrooms that can each accommodate up to three people, a separate toilet, and a shower room. The property is fully accessible and sits on a 650 m² lot. The castle’s large grounds are also accessible for lovely walks. We live right next door in the countryside, 3 km from La Bouexière, 9 km from Liffré, and 30 minutes from Rennes.
